1965 Ford Mustang Coupe, 289 8 Cylinder engine, automatic transmission.
The engine, transmission, and running gear great condition. The body has been professionally repainted and interior upholstery and carpeting was redone in the same restoration shop in Seattle, WA in 2007. The car has 75,235 miles on the intact speedometer. The car has been driven less than 1000 miles since the restoration and shipment to Maryland.
All body metal is in great condition. All mechanical systems; air conditioning, heating, power brakes, power steering, automatic transmission, fuel system, electrical items, exhaust system, are in working condition. The interior has no rain leaks and all glass and weather stripping is in great condition. Additional sound proofing and insulation has been installed throughout.
The factory installed options include the "Pony" Interior Décor Group, wood trim steering wheel, fog lights, console, "Styled Steel Wheels", and factory dual exhaust with "trumpets"; all GT items.
The original AM radio still fills the hole in the dash; however, a new remote-controlled Kenwood AM/FM radio with CD player and stereo speakers convey. The A/C system has been modified to accept the new R134a refrigerant.
Lastly, the engine is a strong, original "A" code (225 hp-4V) 289 with zero oil consumption. It has exhibited very good power and dependability, typical of that era of Ford small block engines.
